There are many people who try to blend the biblical account of origins with the evolutionary one. These perhaps well-meaning people think that God might have used evolution to accomplish the works found in Genesis. There are numerous reasons why this view is false. Here is just one:
If evolution is true, then there is a specific order in which things appeared in space and on the earth. This progression is taught universally as fact, and would seem reasonable if the evolution scenario was true.
However, the Bible teaches a very different progression. The order in which things appeared is very different. So, right at the beginning, you start off with conflict. The question remains, then ~ Which one is true? They can't both be! You can't mix oil and water. This chart shows the difference...
