Tom Vail has compiled an excellent series of perspectives on various aspects of the Grand Canyon. Widely taught as the result of millions of years of “carving” by the Colorado River, this book counters with the reality of the biblical view of a more recent and rapid event, and includes beautiful photographs of many aspects of this national treasure. There are many contributing authors who cover a wide array of topics.
